Peer Review Policy

SINTA Journal (Science, Technology, and Agricultural) employs a rigorous Double-anonymous peer review review process. Under this model, author and reviewer identities are masked from each other to ensure unbiased and objective scholarly appraisal.

Key Workflow Parameters:

  • Preliminary Screening: Editorial desk check within 1–2 weeks for scope, plagiarism, and formatting.
  • Independent Evaluation: Every accepted submission is evaluated by at least 2 independent external reviewers with documented domain expertise.
  • Target Turnaround: The typical target time for first decision is 4-6 weeks from initial submission to first editorial decision.
  • Final Decision Authority: The handling editor or Editor-in-Chief retains final authority to Accept, Request Minor Revision, Request Major Revision, or Reject, based on reviewer advice and scholarly merit.
