AI in Peer Review and Editorial Assessment

Reviewers and editors must NOT upload unpublished manuscripts, figures, reviewer comments, or author information into public or external generative AI platforms. Doing so violates author confidentiality and intellectual property rights.

AI tools may be used by the editorial office solely for technical checks (e.g., automated similarity screening, reference formatting), but automated systems must never make final acceptance or rejection decisions without direct human editorial evaluation.
