AI Usage Policy for Authors

SINTA Journal (Science, Technology, and Agricultural) follows COPE principles regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) cannot be listed as an author, as an AI cannot accept accountability, legal responsibility, or manage conflicts of interest.

Requirements for Authors:

  1. Transparency: Authors must disclose any substantive use of AI in the Methods and Acknowledgements section.
  2. Scope of Allowed Use: AI may be used for language enhancement, code generation, or preliminary drafting, provided human authors critically inspect and verify all outputs.
  3. Strict Prohibitions: AI must never be used to fabricate data, manipulate figures, invent citations, or alter research evidence.
  4. Author Liability: The human authors remain 100% accountable for the originality and factual accuracy of every word and datum.
